How can I connect to my JB4 after installing it?
We highly recommend the Bluetooth connect kit add-on as it will allow you to wirelessly connect the JB4 to your Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS or Android device. You can also connect to your Windows laptop using a BMS data cable. Both connection options allow the recording and analyzing of tuning data, changing performance maps, and updating JB4 firmware. On-the-fly map changes, as well as some other features, are also available via the vehicle's in-dash controls.
Will the JB4 void the warranty of my BMW 330i or 430i?
No piggyback performance tuner will automatically void the factory coverage of your vehicle. However, the dealership may not honor a warranty claim if they believe that the tuner has been the cause of damage to the car. Though there is a warranty issue, in most cases the tuning system does not affect the warranty coverage at all.
